Web inventions not fast enough?

The thought hit me today when unable to sleep at 2 a.m, that the web may have been around for some time adn there are no things popping up now and then, but are they popping up fast enough? There are a couple of social platforms such as Facebook and Myspace, but isn’t the competition a bit…uncompetative?

I read a good share of social media news blogs every day and I am still waiting for that special new Facebook or Myspace platform. But it is slow, darn slow. Surely there must be a bunch of smart entrepenours out there with lots of ideas who could reform the web? We need it. Internet is getting a bit…boring.
