AT&T to release a Firefox killer (?)

I don’t know much about AT&T, apart from it being a company named in many American movies. The company is established in a number of countries around the world, but in Sweden there’s no sign of it. Not that I have notices anyway. But when I heard the news that they are about to release their own browser, the name did ring a bell, at least.

So what is this, Pogo Browser? I thought it was a dance style originated i the 70-80s punk music scene or a mobile device from 2001 (Pogo without the Browser word). Obvioulsy it can be more than that. The geek crowd have different things to say about Pogo. While Techcruch sounds more negative, Thunk Different has a more positive approach to it, even calling it “stunning”. Well it is 3D and it do looks pretty slick, but is it usefull? Don’t know yet.
