One life, but how many lifestreams?

Everyone talks about lifestreams. I wonder for how long? Remember when the mobile phone was new? Before that, we lead our lives perfectly well without being “reachable” 24/7. Today we can’t walk outside our home without carrying it with us. Will lifestreams and micro-blogs such as Twitter and Pownce, be as important, as vital, for us? I doubt it. Especially when the number of lifestreaming services is getting bigger every day.
